Web Services for Systematics (WI) is the distributed application which utilizes the Architecture Systems (GN) web interface. Using the architecture tools, WI allows XML and JSON message processing within the Transaction System (TS) Native transaction flow. This Self-Study video course is technically oriented and will familiarize the participant with the GN interface to IBM's CICS Transaction Server® web services product. The interface allows TS to operate as a web service provider. The participant is introduced to the tool and how it is used to exchange application data with FIS financial applications. This video course will include a review of the modifications to GN TS control records and the new input/output analysis programs to handle XML and JSON messages and tags. The web services distributed by GN and the business applications to which they interface will be listed as well as the components needed to support them.
